Foreign exchange market isn't like the stock market
The currency market is commonly called the FX market, and the currency market.
Trading that happens between 2 counties with different currencies is the fundament for the fx market and the background of the trading in this market. The forex market is over thirty years old, established early on the 1970's.
The forex market is one that is not based essentially on any one business or making an investment in any sort of business, but the trading and selling of currencies. The difference between the stock exchange and the forex market is the immense trading that occurs on the forex market. There's millions and millions that are traded every day on the forex market, virtually 2 trillion USD is traded daily. The amount is way higher than the money traded on the daily market of any country. The currency market is one that involves executives, banks, financial firms and those similar types of enterprises from other countries. The what's traded, bought and sold on the forex market is something that might just be liquidated, meaning it can be turned back to cash fast, or often times it is largely going to be money.
From one currency to another, the supply of cash in the currency market is something that may happen fast for any banker from any country.
The difference between the exchange and the currency exchange market is the currency market is worldwide around the globe. The market is something that occurs only inside a country. The exchange relies on companies and products that are within a country, and the currency market takes that a step further to include any country. Typically this is going to follow the working day, and should be closed on banking holidays and weekends. As one market is opening, another states market is closing.
This is the constant system of the way the currency market trading occurs. However, in the forex market, you are engaged with many sorts of states, and many currencies. You will find references to a variety of currencies, and this is a great difference between the market and the currency market.
